My Take : NYX Mosaic Powder in Highlighter

This product had been on my wish list ever since I first laid my eyes on it and needless to say I ordered it online the first chance I got.I was basically looking for a highlighter cum blusher and after an exhaustive search found the Mosaic Powder.

It is marketed as both a highlighter and blusher and comes in a variety of 12 shades but the shade I bought Highlighter is most suitable to be used as a highlighter.It is a mosaic of 5 colors(Pink,Lilac,Brown,Beige and Cream).However when blended together it is a sheer pearlescent pinkish white which looks awesome on my pale skin.

It is great for covering redness and imparting a glow to the skin and can be used separately as eye shadow as well although each individual shade comes out quite sheer too.

The trick is not apply too much or it will leave a whitish cast on your face.

A fusion of five luminous shades  in one. Blends together to match your skin for the perfect glow. Can be used as a blusher, eye shadow,bronzer or highlighter.

The Good:

1. Versatility.Can be used as highlighter,eye shadow,blusher or bronzer.
2. Gives a pearly glow to the skin without the shimmer.
3. Good staying power.
4. Good quantity.
5. Packaging is excellent.The powder does not fly around and create a mess.

The Bad:

1. No application brush or mirror.
2. Color can be too sheer for some.Though I'm not complaining.
3. Currently only available in select stores in Bangalore and Mumbai.And of course online.

Love It or Chuck It?

I'm irrevocably in love with it simply because of its versatility and carry it always.Its my one stop makeup solution.I'm absolutely itching to try out more shades especially Champagne,Spice and Dare.Love it.
